Education Policy for Broker Support

Interested in saving money by having OKCMAR speciality instructors hold seminars/classes at your brokerage firm?

OKCMAR offers specialty instructors (defined as those instructors who offer designation courses and are well-known experts in the field who require travel arrangements to OK City) throughout the year for the membership. These instructors typically have travel costs that range from $500-1000.

If intersted in booking these instructors for your firm and saving on the travel costs paid by OKCMAR the following policies apply:

If the course requires the OKCMAR instructor to incur an additional night's hotel stay- it is the responsibility of the brokerage firm to book & pay for the hotel arrangements for the additional night.

The broker must also process any submissions to OREC for the course to be held at their firm and must pay any susbsequent OREC fees.

If the broker is utilizing OKCMAR classroom space they will be billed at the normal rental rate of $50 per half day.

If the course requires that the instructor arrive a day early or leave a day late the brokerage firm is responsible for transporting the instructor to and from the airport.

The brokerage firm must handle all course arrangements with the instructor. OKCMAR will not be responsible for communicating arrangements for your course with the instructor nor are they responsible for marketing your course to your associates.
