Legislative Center
As a REALTOR® member there is a unique opportunity to influence the growth of our city. OKCMAR REALTORS® are organized politically with the primary goal of protecting home ownership availability and private property rights. OKCMAR leads action through its RPIC and MAC committees.
RPIC, REALTORS® Political Involvement Committee is comprised of a board of trustees who determine where RPAC Fair Share Dollars are distributed and who also organize issues mobilization through marketing means and feet on the ground.
MAC, Municipal Action Committee is comprised of OKCMAR members who actively monitor and are involved in their local municipality's legislative activity. MAC members are encouraged to run for office on their school/town/city boards and councils. MAC members also report legislative activity to the RPIC Committee. MAC members are also encouraged to participate in community outreach through involvement in local chambers and groups.
If you have a desire to make OKC and its surrounding municipalities a better place to live and raise children please consider involvement in either RPIC or MAC. An additional benefit to involvement in these committees is increased market awareness of your value as a REALTOR, enhanced credibility as a real estate expert professional, free publicity and endorsement from the local media.
RPAC, REALTORS® Political Action Committee is the income engine funding RPIC & MAC.
