The first filing period for candidate seeking office in 2023 was from December 5th to the 7th. Except for a special election for Oklahoma County Clerk, candidates were filing for local municipal and school board elections. 

OKCMAR is excited for another opportunity to help elect candidates who support objectives we believe will help improve the quality of our communities and schools. While close to a hundred candidates filed for office in OKCMAR’s jurisdiction, which includes the counties of Oklahoma, Canadian and part of Blaine, we will be only screening candidates with opponents.
