The Community Partners Sub-Committee shall work with local municipalities to coordinate policy objectives advocated by the profession and the industry.
Who We Are
The Community Partners program is tasked with coordinating OKCMAR efforts on policy objectives and interactions with locally elected officials and staff. There are currently 37 identified municipalities in Oklahoma, Canadian and Blaine counties.
The purpose of this program is to foster a relationship between local officials and municipalities with REALTORS® and OKCMAR. We believe that when we show up and develop partnerships and relationships with local leaders the payoff is exponential to the REALTOR® community.
This program allows OKCMAR partners to be informed and up to date on current policies. OKCMAR community partners and REALTORS® will have the most up to date knowledge about local municipalities ordinances and the laws being passed or considered. REALTORS® will be able to use this data and information to best inform local leaders and community members on what’s best for the REALTOR® community.
