ULI Oklahoma: Incremental Development Alliance OKC Seminar
ULI Oklahoma is pleased to welcome back to Oklahoma City Alli Quinlan with the Incremental Development Alliance (IncDev). On Thursday, March 26, 2020, Ms. Quinlan will take a big picture view of neighborhood-based development to help attendees analyze what makes a good project, how a building makes money, and how small developers interact with the broader ecosystem of professionals in the built environment. ULI Oklahoma will then host IncDev faculty for a full two-day small scale development bootcamp on May 29-30, 2020 (registration details to soon follow – Learn more HERE).
Attendance at either IncDev’s past 1-day workshops (ULI Oklahoma hosted in March 2018) or the March 26th seminar is required to attend the 2-day bootcamp in May.
The seminar (~4 hours) will cover the following topics:
- Overview of development models
- Skill set evaluation
- Right sizing your project (form meets financing)
- Building arts: Best practices for site planning and building layout
- Intro to pro formas for small projects
- Financing your project and basic due diligence
