An active participant on OKCMAR’s Government Affairs Committee, Advocacy Committee and Homeless Initiative Sub-Committee, she was passionate in shaping zoning and policy that protects access to housing as a basic human right.
Sarah served the community as a leader for the Norman Community Choral Society Board of Directors: as their 2022-2024 Membership Chair, their Media Chair, and as Vice President on their Board of Directors.

Her commitment to her community extends beyond real estate. Amanda and her husband own Owen Southdowns and Show Lambs. They actively support local Mustang youth involved in livestock programs in FFA and 4H. They share their time, knowledge, and experience with young people, helping and encouraging them as they raise and show their sheep at livestock shows. Through this involvement, Amanda helps young people develop responsibility, confidence, and valuable agricultural and livestock skills.
