CE: Building Strong Relationships – Expand Your Sphere & Cultivate Lifelong Clients
Continuing Education Type: Elective (ELE)
Real Estate is a relationship business. The best advocates for the consumer are the agents who truly know their clients. What if you are new to the area? We will discuss how to build a relationship business when no one knows your name. What if you changed careers and no one even knows to call you for real estate? We will discuss strategies to establish you as their real estate resource and trusted real estate advisor. What if you have been in the business a couple years and would now like to help people outside your immediate sphere?
We will discuss tactics to organically grow your sphere based on trust. Your potential clients deserve to know you and feel comfortable with you. Then, as we look at life after closing, we can’t just walk away and leave our clients behind. The rise of internet leads, “self tours” of listings and online property searches have commoditized the real estate process.
When you add in the recent National Association of Realtors’ settlement, it is obvious that real estate agents have failed to provide the level of service the consumer expects. Agents can no longer view their role as transactional, they must become a lifelong real estate resource for their clients.
