REALTORS® are introduced daily to methods that are intended to increase their production. Some of these methods work because they involve misrepresenting either the property or part of the transaction. Some of this misrepresentation looks harmless on the surface but can place the licensee in danger of violating the statues on “substantial misrepresentation”. It’s good to know what the Code and Rules says on the subject so we don’t get in a hurry and make a mistake.
