OKCMAR & MLSOK Payment and Refund Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy establishes the rules governing payments, refunds, credits, and financial obligations owed to the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®(OKCMAR) and MLSOK.
This Policy applies to all payments made to OKCMAR, including but not limited to:
- Membership dues and assessments
- Application and reinstatement fees
- Transfer fees
- Events, education, and program registration fees
- Fines, fees, and other financial obligations owed to OKCMAR and MLSOK or its services
All members and applicants are responsible for understanding and complying with this Policy as a condition of membership or participation.
It is the subscriber’s responsibility to remit payment by the due date, whether or not an e-bill is received. Access for unpaid subscriptions will be suspended, and a late fee will be assessed per service. Reinstated subscribers are not eligible for proration or waiver of subscription fees. Credit card payments must be made online through the Member Portal. Checks must be submitted using the Member Portal TeleCheck feature.
Nonpayment of Dues and Financial Obligations
Failure to pay dues, fees, fines, or other financial obligations within the timeframes established by the OKCMAR and MLSOK Bylaws may result in suspension or termination of membership. Membership terminated for nonpayment may be billed to the broker responsible for the licensee and may only be reinstated upon full payment of all outstanding balances and compliance with new membership application procedures.
Application fees are non-refundable.
Transfer fees are non-refundable once processed.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Refunds for education courses, events, or programs may be granted only if cancellation is received within the timeframe published for the specific event or program.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late cancellations unless expressly approved by OKCMAR staff under extenuating circumstances.
- OKCMAR reserves the right to retain an administrative fee, not to exceed costs incurred, from any approved refund
All refund determinations are made in accordance with Board-approved policies and fiscal controls.
Refund Limitations
Membership dues, assessments, and related fees are non-refundable once paid, including but not limited to cases of resignation, suspension, termination, or changes in membership status, except where required by law.
No refunds or credits will be issued for dues, fees, or other payments when membership privileges are suspended or terminated due to noncompliance with governing documents.
Payment Methods and Processing
OKCMAR and MLSOK accepts electronic payments and credit/debit cards. All payments are processed in accordance with fiscal policies and internal accounting controls. Returned, rejected, or disputed payments (including chargebacks) may result in additional fees, suspension of services, or revocation of membership privileges.
