REALTOR® Day at the Capitol is less than 2 weeks away. Have you RSVP’d to be there?
REALTOR® Day at the Capitol is part of our effort to fight and promote issues important to REALTORS®. Our efforts are dramatically increased when we come out in full force. Last year over 400 REALTORS® showed up to fight legislation that would have caused home cost to increase. While we were successful, we must stay diligent and remind members of the legislature that we are still here.
The schedule for the day begins on February 13th at 1:30 pm at the State Capitol. We will serve members of the legislature and their staff ice cream from 2:30 pm to 4 pm.
For OKCMAR members who want to be more involved, please consider registering for the Capitol Conference, which begins on Monday, February 12th. There will be several sessions that are part of the Capitol Conference, including an advocacy training and a gubernatorial candidate meet & greet.
Please help us show our strength by again setting record-breaking attendance numbers during this event. Let us know you are coming by RSVPing. I look forward to seeing you at 23rd and Lincoln!
