OKLAHOMA CITY, OK March 21, 2019 – The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission is announcing Sherry Kueffler as its new Executive Director. Kueffler was named following a national job search and extensive interview process conducted by the seven Real Estate Commissioners who are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.
The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission is the state agency that licenses and regulates Oklahoma’s nearly nineteen thousand real estate licensees and companies. Its mission is to protect the public through the licensing and regulation of the real estate industry.
“The Commission looks forward to working with Ms. Kueffler in her new role,” said Commission Chairman Doug Emde.” She will be an effective leader and a great asset to the real estate industry. Her experience, knowledge, and skills are critical in meeting Commission objectives and requirements of the law.”
Ms Kueffler has served as the Acting Executive Director of the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission since December of 2018. Prior to this position, she was the Deputy Executive Director from 2016-2018. She began working for the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission in 1999 starting as an Investigator, then becoming Chief Investigator in 2000.

Ms Kueffler has been a long time resident of the Oklahoma City Metro area, having grown up in Midwest City. She attended college and received a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Masters of Education in Adult Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She and her husband Patrick live in Midwest City.
